May 5 - RGB Preliminary Vote at 1 Bowling Green. Come!

Tenants & Neighbors, the Real Rent Reform, Met Council on  Housing, and many other groups  are calling for tenants to come to the RENT GUIDELINES BOARD'S PRELIMINARY VOTE on
MONDAY, MAY 5, 2014  at 5 PM (come early to get a seat).

The law says the RGB may make "rent adjustments, if any."  The board is not required to raise rents - but that's what it has done for the past 44 years or so.  Make this time DIFFERENT.

Tenants are demanding that the RGB
ROLL BACK OUR RENTS!

While on the campaign trail, Mayor de Blasio called for a rent freeze.  But we know that 2.5 million tenants have been hit with increase after increase while landlords made money hand over fist.

That's why we're calling for a RENT ROLLBACK on May 5 when the Rent Guidelines Board will have its preliminary vote.

Join us and other tenants!

WHAT:  ROLL BACK OUR RENTS @ RGB Preliminary Vote
WHEN:  Monday, May 5 at 5 PM
WHERE: U.S. Customs House, 1 Bowling Green
